Once I've met a man who wanted to be my "friend", after a while I've got to know he was very successful at his work, but divorced. He was Filipino living in Moscow. From his big family (they were 13 children), he was the only one who left the Philippine Islands and worked in a big (by the way) Swiss company
He complaned about his wife, that she had nothing when they met, he supported her financially, loved her, got a job for her. Now she has a good job and high aliments from him,
After they got divorced he didn't meet anyone as he was affraid the girls would need just his money.
