EUROFLAT

EUROFLAT (version 2) is a multi-timeframe trading strategy that can work on all currency pairs, but here it is used for EURUSD.

Overview of the Trading Logic
This strategy leverages a combination of M1, M5, and H4 timeframes to profit from short-term price movements in EUR/USD. The core principle is to enter trades when the market shows clear signs of being overbought or oversold. By aligning with these conditions, the strategy seeks to capture quick reversals in the price action.

Trading Patterns and Conditions
The strategy initiates trades based on volatility and momentum indicators. It sells when EUR/USD is overbought and buys when it is oversold. A 14-period ATR on the H4 chart is compared to its 30-period SMA to ensure trades occur only in volatile markets. Positions are opened only if volatility is above this threshold, enhancing the probability of profitable outcomes.

On the M1 chart, a 5-period SMA of the RSI is used to identify momentum shifts. A sell signal is generated when the RSI crosses below its SMA in the overbought zone (above 70), and a buy signal occurs when the RSI crosses above its SMA in the oversold zone (below 30).

Indicators and Their Purpose
- ATR (Average True Range): Measures market volatility. The 14-period ATR and its 30-period SMA filter trades to avoid low-volatility conditions.
- RSI (Relative Strength Index): Identifies overbought and oversold conditions. The 5-period SMA smooths RSI signals for more reliable entries.
- SMA (Simple Moving Average): A 100-period SMA on the M5 chart is used as a profit target, ensuring trades close at significant support or resistance levels.

Trade Turnover Calculation

Each trade is executed with a fixed lot size of 5 million units on the M1 chart. This high-volume approach maximizes profit potential in short-term trades. Positions are managed actively, closing either at the 100-period SMA on the M5 chart or when volatility drops below the required threshold, ensuring disciplined risk management.
