In Marathon I knowingly choose all the difficult task as I always desire to set high standards for myself. One of my goal is to transform myself in these 21 days and consciously I am working on it.
Today I am sharing one important aspect of our daily life. When we are alone we constantly knowingly or unknowingly talk with our self. Some time we notice it and sometime we didn't notice it and our mind keeps saying something or the other. This is called consciousness and unconsciousness when we don't know what exactly we are doing. I will share a way to change this habit into useful self transforming technique.
Self conversation strongly influence our perception so we need to be extremely careful about the quality of our self conversation.
Important aspect is this quality and perception is responsible for the way we see our self, others and situation so if channeled properly they can be very much constructive which will empower us to deal with situations and people and if not they will harm us by weakening us some or the other way. This subtle conversation with oneself possess immense potential, both way positive and negative, and if we want them we can use them to liberate us or they can limit us. We can judge, criticize and threaten ourselves or other way praise and encourage the self in positive way, it's in our hand. Its very important to create thoughts of acceptance, respect and approval for ourselves, even if situations don't go the way we desire or expect. Such positive positive conversation help us rise above the dependence on what and how people see us and what they think or talk about us, making ourselves extremely powerful.
Few minutes spent for positive self conversation do a lot benefit. It is can be done by detaching oneself from actions we are doing and just focusing our mind on self conversation. One can choose some standing or sitting for a while and talking to oneself. Try this and you will feel the difference.
