Full Many a Glorious Morning Have I Seen...

Friday being the weekly holiday in these parts of the world, people get up late in the morning and I thought of having 'the open bath session' before my house-owner's family members came out for their daily chores. I could not have accomplished this Dukasummer task during the week days, as every working day we have to start for the school as son as the day light hits the soil.

I had two more things in my mind for the morning-capture the eternal beauty of sunrise at the beach and climb a tree and take a selfie-before I doused myself with tape-water instead of the regular bath inside the comfort and privacy of my bathroom. I asked my colleagues to join me as I was not sure whether I would be able to take a selfie from atop a tree, if and when I safely reach there. I was extra careful because usually I do not like applying for leave from my duty and this year I have taken none till now. So, accompanied by my two friends we started out early in the morning for a jogging. (This was a bonus for me and hence I thought of skipping my daily brief meditation cum yoga session.)

But Nothing Can Compare to a Sunrise at The Sea.
It is a Miracle Created Just For You and Me.

After half an hour of jogging I saw the dawn breaking and set out to begin my photo shoot. This did not go as I planned because the nature had other plans. Thin black clouds started playing spoil sport with my idea and sun, like a playful toddler joined them gleefully in a hide and seek game. My mobile camera and me struggled for more than an hour-well into the daylight- to get a glimpse of Helios, but failed. Any how later in my room while I was going through whatever my camera captured in,I realized that failure and spoilsport are terms not in the dictionary of nature. whatever the nature does has its own scintillating beauty and purpose.

Poems are made by fools like me. but only God can make a tree

You just ran through one of the lines I keep close to my heart-may be because of the modern man's negligence and cruelty towards trees or my be because of the sheer magnanimity and beauty of the tree- I do not know; for me a tree is simply too valuable a being not to respect and to value. So..... then..... we three started looking for a tree which would be suitable for my age and tree-climbing expertise.
One of my compatriots had a doubt whether I was being a bit childish in doing this task.I comforted him saying that this can be both a change and a challenge- not a big one, though!

Most of the islands in this archipelago are devoid of any trees, except for a few co-co-nut palms, but our island has a lot of trees. However, none of them were 'kind' enough to boost my confidence. So we conveniently postponed the 'adventure' for another week.
We reached our premises a bit late in the morning than we had planned, and luckily there was no sign of anyone outside. So we began the next task- I doused myself with cold water from the hose and as it was the beginning of a warm Friday morning and especially after a good jogging I felt refreshed and all along my friend clicked photos. And before anyone came out to witness this unusual ritual, we got into the safety of our respective rooms.

A MEMORABLE MORNING, THANK YOU DUKASUMMER!
