I have to admit – on of my biggest passion in my life is breaking into derelict buildings. Especially those that still have some furniture, equipment etc. left. Today I’ll tell you about one of the most amazing adventures that I've had - breaking into Riga Porcelain factory. This factory was founded in 1841 and worked successfully until 1994. Please read full post to see all the photos made by my friend Eduard. This was actually not one building, but entire architectural complex with many many different buildings, halls, rooms etc.

Unfortunately kilns room is completely ruined and only hills of bricks left, but imagine – they were working non-stop for 150 years!

Most part of big equipment has been already taken out, but many small details are still there. It feels so creepy and amazing like we have discovered different layer of reality where this building still lives its ruined, but immortal life.

The most interesting fact of our „trip” that day was the fact that all the territory is strictly forbidden for any visitors and there are several guards with dogs and fire arm who was hunting us! Several times we had to run very quickly and sometimes we were standing for more than half an hour almost without breathing, because each small sound can be heard very well in such huge halls! Example of the "tunnel" we had to run through:

Have you been to any of such places before? Or how do you think what would you feel being there?
