Nowadays social media is everywhere. We're dependent on news, hashtags and likes. Having waken up, I usually used to check my Instagram, VK and messengers. This was even not kind of a habit, but a bit of my daily ritual.
I have found some easy tips, how to skip social media. Here they are:

1. Having a lot of work to do and tasks to complete per day, usually I even forget about social media existence! So diversify your day, make it full of different events, tasks and plans. It will help you to forget about social media.
2. Spending time in social media is some kind of a habit and any habit can be replaced with some other one. Therefore, when you got used to scrolling your Instagram feed while travelling to your work, replace it with listening to music or watching some educative videos.
3. Transferring all your important contacts to messengers. Very often, we visit social media to have some contact with people dear to us. Having entered Facebook to leave a message to a friend of yours, you won’t stop unless all the feed is viewed and liked So agree with your friends to chat in Viber or WhatsApp, it will help you not to visit social media so often.
4. Change your model of thinking and realize that social media lead to degrading and losing time. Having leaped to a conclusion that time is precious and it can be spend in a more productive and efficient way, you'll be more attentive to your time and social media.
5. Deleting social media apps from your phone/tablet. Usually it really helps. When you do not have notifications, you enter social media apps more seldom.

The what’s about me?


I've replaced all my social media habits with some useful things. Now having waken up, I'm drinking water instead of scrolling my Instagram feed, when I get bored, I'm doing eye-exercises. You know, now I visit Facebook 1 time per 2-3 days. I visit VK seldom too, however, sometimes I enter it to find some videos to watch. I deleted the app, surfing it via Safari. INSTAGRAM! My pain. My faourite social media. I used to visit Instagram every 5 minutes, now I’m doing it 2-3 times a day!
