Hello All!

I found this very interesting!

[No disrespect to the economists - In fact, I, myself, am a pursuing macro economist in a long run.]

Reading about Macro Economists – those who we see almost every time on TV, talking about currencies, countries and economies – forecasting -

I learned that they fall in 3 categories –

1) ECONOMIC FORECASTING
2) ECONOMIC RESEARCHING &
3) DATA DEVELOPING

To my surprise, the LEAST that they are capable of happens to be – guess which one out of the above 3?

Ans is # 1 – FORECASTING… (Ref: Book: Macroeconomics By Ben S. Bernanke, Andrew B Abel and Dean Croushore)

I wonder this could be the reason why we tend to find out that most often than not, market goes against many economists' forecasts!

I hope you are ready for the catalyst events on the docket later on today and Good Luck Trading!

... Anil.
