'Cook a dish' and 'What is you'! Ya, Its fine to ask once in a while in our lives like that? It sets something rolling-the seeking. Whatever you do, whoever you meet, wherever you seek, finally you end up realizing that you are what you gather from this soil, mainly through eating. Now, you eat something, a few hours later the thing you have taken in, will not be there but you will be, in its place. And for sure, this accumulated, or the body, will return to the place it was gathered from.
Just that!
No, if you like, you can say, believe or feel that, YOU are also the impressions, feelings, emotions and more importantly your thoughts-that too are gathered.

The two sides of the same coin or the two parts of the same egg or the unidentifiable TWO in ONES! Which one is more important? Which one will last longer? Don't be in a hurry to say that the second one-because that is YOUr belief. Some one else may have the other belief.

You may be thinking that my trial and error method once again went wrong and I am just beating around the bush to make you think otherwise. Here is my dish-
The interesting thing is that all the ingredients shown in the image are not an indispensable part of this dish, For example, you can just add the salt and cook the leaves and eat it like that, its good, or add a cup of rice to it and boil it, still good. (I have used the Sri Lankan Basmathi rice which was soaked in water for around 30 minutes, but any rice will do , that is, if you need it.)

Now, there is the green gram which also is soaked in water, then the co co nut shreds, the remaining -ginger, garlic, onion, chilly, turmeric powder and black pepper powder are all spices that you can add or leave. But I have added them with two cups of water and within 20 minutes on low flames the dish was ready.

Before cooking all the ingredients must be mixed properly, if not, the leaves will stick together and it may not be easy to mix that with the remaining things after it is cooked.

You are what you eat, so eat wisely.
