Dear All

If any of you missed Nihad's recent blog post, he wrote a long comment on the current state of Dukascopy's community- and trading platforms, most notably on a variety of bugs that he has experienced. He has spent a lot of time documenting this for the post, and has forwarded it to Dukascopy administration. He also has former professional experience in this area before going into trading.

The intent of his post, which is important to emphasise, is that he is not out to denigrate Dukascopy but to help improve the site, precisely because he sees such potential in the whole community aspect attached to the site.

If anyone has experienced any major bugs and feel that their feedback has not been heard it may be helpful to write a comment in Nihad's post mentioning what it is.

A small selection of my own personal experiences (non-trading) include:
1) spending two hours building up my stack in a Saturday poker game and then suddenly being logged out and unable to log back in (when I was able to do so after several attempts 45 minutes later my stack had almost evaporated). I just play for fun so its not catastrophic in any way, but it's still annoying.
2) having a chat partner logged out in the middle of a chat and unable to log back in.
3) constantly being told that I am double-posting when making a comment to a blog post and being asked to confirm that I am not a robot.

There are so many bugs, major and minor, that it makes me slightly uneasy. A trading site needs to appear professional in all respects. Like Nihad, I believe in the site and its concept, but there needs to be a better feedback channel for bugs and the like. To some extent, I gather that this is what some of the contests are for; to collect feedback on bugs and to correct them. Dukascopy just needs a better process for actually gathering and implementing the feedback systematically and consistently.

Thanks for your time. Here's Nihad's post:
