The finalists will have the opportunity to present their last collection in a Fashion Show in front of 500 VIP guests. The 1st Prize Award includes a massive visibility impact on the internet, Youtube, social media and among the press. Fashion designers finalists have the opportunity to have their names and work featured on television, web and print media.

Dukascopy TV guarantees to promote the 3 top winners that will be invited in Geneva. We will make with each one an innovative exclusive video clip that will be showed widely throughout the web/Youtube:

Rules

Throughout the whole year, we will pre-select among the applications 10 top fashion designers. At the end and after a voting (by the professional jury & on online social Medias), we will choose the 3 top winning finalists. They will be promoted in a film of the event & mentioned on Dukascopy TV. The winner will be interviewed personally & promoted in a film dedicated to him/her. The finalists will be promoted in the Miss Dukascopy 2016 contest campaign and will have the opportunity to design a dress and present 4 outfits as a gift for Miss Dukascopy Title.

We provide the Hair, Models, Photographer, DJ, and Runway Creative Direction to ensure your collection is presented beautifully. We also have a team of photographers and videographers to professionally document your work at the event. We ask the designer finalist to present 12-18 looks from its collection.

The Fashion Event isn’t just a runway show: it’s an exciting performance show filled with drama and theatrics.

Travel and accommodation

Travel to Geneva will be undertaken by designers qualifying for the final show, at their own cost. Accommodation in Geneva will be of the responsibility of the fashion designers. The organizer will provide guidance if help is asked.

Please note that there is no accreditation fee to enter the competition.

How to apply

In order to participate in the selection process, please send your application with your complete portfolio (PDF/JPG) that should include:

• Resume/CV, photos of past & recent creations. A link video of a previous work/show is very welcome.
• Presentation of the concept & ideas of your last collection: description text of the theme, colors & fabric range, illustrations and fashion drawings of the collection, photos of the finished outfits.
• Brief Design Overview: A brief 50-200 word description of the creative concept of the collection. This will be used on our web preview and PR materials and should be an inspiring “teaser” of your piece.
